Skills related to the governance, maintenance, and lifecycle management of content, including creation, publication, update and retirement, across the digital workplace. This includes ensuring metadata consistency, structural coherence, format suitability, and AI-legibility of content, while integrating content into retrieval and knowledge systems that support both human and machine consumption.
Applies good practices to small sets of content throughout its lifecycle so it remains relevant, accurate and valuable.
Applies systematic content management processes to a substantial collection of content such as regular content reviews, reporting with quality indicators and archiving procedures. Oversees registers of content ownership with subject matter experts.
Leads the strategy and execution of the organisation's content ecosystem, ensuring content assets are managed through a full lifecycle, creation, publication, update, retirement, and archive, with embedded structural, semantic and provenance controls. Establishes standards and tooling for AI-legible content, oversees metadata governance, ensures multilingual and multicorpus alignment, and monitors content performance in retrieval and AI-driven systems. Coordinates content governance with taxonomies, search/retrieval frameworks, and organisational authority structures to ensure content remains accurate, findable, relevant and machine-ready.
