Skills related to the ability to create, implement and operate a model of governance for controlling the operational aspects associated with an intranet or wider digital workplace to ensure successful and sustainable outcomes. This model consists of various controlling processes, standards and bodies.
Apprentice
Provides, deploys and maintains basic controls for operational governance such as forms to make requests, registers of sites and actors and content standards.
Practitioner
Provides additional layers of control to increase quality such as the provision of content strategy, site review processes and overall governance matrixes that detail expectations across different sites and services. Enforces controls with stakeholders through direct means, persuasion and indirect influence.
Master
Proactively manages the environment by increasing awareness of organisational and personnel changes or processes to deal with abandoned or orphaned content or the need to assess and mitigate risks.
