Systems testing skill levels

Apprentice

Executes existing test scripts and coordinate tests among target groups, collates results and reports back issues to developers.

Practitioner

Creates test cases and associated test scripts based on existing specifications. Coordinates testing as part of a larger project or programme.

Master

Details and maintains policies, standards and procedures around systems testing. Coordinates the large-scale and/ or automated testing of projects. Advises stakeholders on the appropriate test strategy given particular circumstances.
