The systematic articulation, capture and dissemination of employee's tacit knowledge (knowledge which is not written down and hard to transfer to another employee) to deliver value for organisations.
Initiates and manages a single initiative or localised approach to capture and disseminate tacit knowledge, applied informally or limited in scale.
Develops and executes a formalised approach to capturing tacit knowledge based around one or two key processes with appropriate incentivisation and ability to disseminate the knowledge at the time of user need.
Develops and executes a programme of tacit knowledge capture and dissemination around different processes with appropriate incentivisation, and with knowledge made accessible digitally with codification (project and after action reviews, exit interviews etc).
We have hopefully created this competency matrix with thought and care. It is not the only competency framework in the world, and relates specifically to the intranet and digital workplance profession. It therefore concentrates on some things and ignores others.
